X-Men Free Expansion Preview

This free primer will introduce you to the game’s core mechanics, which will give you a head start if you want to join in on a game. This will be followed by an excerpt from the X-Men Expansion, which builds on the rules for people who want to play in the mutant side of the Marvel Multiverse. Also from that book, we include a few characters that you could use in a game today!

Daggerheart Playtest

The final update has arrived in Daggerheart 1.5 Update!

These changes are already in the Daggerheart Nexus, so enjoy continuing to play! 

Make sure to send your feedback to Darrington Press no later than July 31st, 2024! 

Balancing:

• Minor damage thresholds have been eliminated, leading to broad rebalancing of thresholds for classes and adversaries.
• All Experiences now start at +2. 
• Proficiency now takes 2 level up options to increase. 
• Leveling up now includes an option for taking an additional domain card at your level or lower. 

New additions:

• All classes have been given a unique Hope Feature. 
• 2 new Environments and a new Location (“Soulsunk Sea”)
• Campaign Frames have been added – use this collection of optional themes as a jumping off point to ground your table in the kind of stories you want to tell! 

Updates:

• Sections of ‘Preparing for Adventure, Playing an Adventure, and Running an Adventure’ have been updated with more specifics.
• Many Domain, Ancestry, and Subclass Cards updated.

The Great Toy Heist is a short adventure for 2nd-level characters that gives players a chance to try out one of Golarion's rare ancestries. This adventure takes a band of poppet heroes on a dangerous mission to prove themselves and save their home—the very place that gave them life! The four pregenerated characters also provide a quick way to jump right into this exciting Free RPG Day adventure! 

Grab your friends, grab some dice, and play the role of Golarion's newest adorable heroes!

GenCon

The Demiplane Crew will be attending GenCon 2024 this year, providing support for Starfinder Second Edition Playtest, Avatar: The Roleplaying Game, and something very special! If you see us, please say hello! We cannot wait to show off our amazing tools on the floor with our publishing partners! 

Also, this will be our first time going to a convention with Roll20! We cannot wait to meet our awesome party members face-to-face and get some hang out time between showing off our NEXUSes!
